Puschel’s paw orchestra

Puschel looks for an instrument and discovers his paws. Together they find a quiet workshop rhythm.

About 5–8 minutes with movement breaks · no equipment · seated options

Before you begin

Listen to the story or read it at your own pace. Put the device aside for the movements. Ask an adult to help prepare clear, non-slip space or a stable seat. You do not need any objects for this imaginary game. You may make any movement smaller, watch or take a break.

1. Where is the instrument?

Puschel claps quietly and Flauschi taps her thighs; both sit on low stools.
Where is the instrument?

Puschel looked around the workshop. There was not a single instrument ready.

Puschel: Then we cannot have an orchestra.

Flauschi clapped her paws very softly.

Flauschi: You already brought one with you.

Puschel looked at his paws and grinned.

2. A drum in the fur

They sat on their low, sturdy stools with their feet resting on the floor. Flauschi gently tapped her thighs.

Puschel: A cuddle drum!

He tried too. His fur made the sound tiny and quiet.

Flauschi: Just the right volume for today.

3. The feet join in quietly

Puschel moved one toe against the floor. Flauschi listened carefully.

Flauschi: Your feet are whispering.

Puschel: They wanted to join the orchestra too.

A quiet paw tap answered. Then they waited again. Their rhythm had plenty of space between the sounds.

4. The quietest ending

Flauschi and Puschel rest on their stools with their paws on their thighs.
The quietest ending

Flauschi lifted a paw. Puschel waited. Then they both rested their paws on their thighs.

Puschel: Was that the ending already?

Flauschi: Yes. The quietest one we have.

Puschel listened. Even silence could join their orchestra.
