The blue whirlwind
Puschel
Puschel thinks with his heart, starts at full speed and often asks about the plan once he is already on his way. His enthusiasm is usually faster than his paws—but giving up is never his answer.

Our little Wusel world
Wuselhörnchen is the original story world of Puschel and Flauschi—two little squirrels who turn ideas, feelings and everyday mishaps into something lovely together.

Why this website exists
The stories invite children and adults to read together, talk about feelings and friendship, and laugh about small everyday mishaps.
Mishaps, seasons, forest discoveries, crafts and recipes offer different paths through the same Wusel Forest. Every page should feel clear, friendly and free of pressure. Nobody has to read or try everything.

The orange idea finder
Flauschi is warm-hearted, clever and thoughtful. She often spots a way forward early, while leaving Puschel enough room for his wild ideas and sharing the laughter with him.
Meet Flauschi →What matters to our hearts
Ten rules of the heart that guide Puschel and Flauschi. Things do not always go right straight away – but they keep trying together.
Loud or quiet, quick or careful: everyone belongs.
Even with tousled fur, an idea that went wrong or a difficult day, you matter.
Nobody has to do everything alone. Even the cleverest minds sometimes need another paw.
A mishap can be funny. If someone feels embarrassed or sad, we stop and stand by them.
We listen to each other. No means no, and nobody has to join in just because others want them to.
When something goes wrong, we do not hide behind excuses. We apologise and help put things right.
Questions and trying things are part of being a Wusel. When there is danger, we pause and get the right help.
We respect animals, plants and their hiding places. We take only what we need and leave no litter.
Ideas, time and a place at the table. We also respect what someone wants to keep for themselves.
To learn, rest, feel sad and start again. Not every day has to sparkle for us to be there for each other.
And when everything gets muddled, we start again with the first friendly paw.
Who we create for
The website is made for looking, reading aloud and discovering together. Younger children can explore with an adult; older children may browse independently. Recipes, crafts, contact options and external services clearly explain when adult help is needed.
Information for parents →How the Wusel Forest grows
Wuselhörnchen is an original, carefully guided creative project. Generative AI assists with ideas, text and image drafts, which are then selected, checked, revised and placed within the shared Wusel world.
Binding character rules keep Puschel and Flauschi recognisable. Stories and pictures are checked for a child-friendly tone, clear sequences, safety and consistent details. All characters and events are fictional.

Small or tall, round or slender, with or without a disability: every Wusel is equally valuable.
Some Wusels have always lived here. Others come from other Wusel lands. Some had to leave their homes and are looking for safety. They are all welcome.
We do not have to look alike, speak alike or be able to do the same things to belong together. We listen to one another, help each other and never leave anyone out because of their origin, appearance or disability.
Our values: every person has equal dignity. Origin, language, body shape and disability do not decide who belongs. People who had to flee their homes and seek safety are welcome too. Racism, prejudice and exclusion have no place in our Wusel world. Differences may be visible; nobody has to hide their origins or earn the right to belong.
