Puschel and the tickly raindrops

Rain patters outside. Inside, Puschel and Flauschi discover weather that fits on their paws.

About 5–8 minutes with movement breaks · no equipment · seated options

Before you begin

Listen to the story or read it at your own pace. Put the device aside for the movements. Ask an adult to help prepare clear, non-slip space or a stable seat. You do not need any objects for this imaginary game. You may make any movement smaller, watch or take a break.

1. A drop on a paw

Puschel gently taps his forearm while Flauschi watches. Rain falls outside the round windows.
A drop on a paw

Rain dotted the round workshop windows. Puschel held a paw underneath. It stayed dry.

Puschel: Then I shall make my own rain.

He tapped his fingertips very gently on his other arm. Flauschi pricked up her ears.

Flauschi: Your rain tickles just to watch!

2. A little weather cloud

Flauschi lifted her shoulders a tiny bit and let them settle.

Flauschi: My cloud is very cosy.

Puschel tried too. His shoulders almost disappeared into his blue fur.

Puschel: Oh! My cloud has found my ears!

3. Sun between the drops

Flauschi and Puschel open their paws like little sunbeams in the clear workshop.
Sun between the drops

A bright patch crossed the wooden floor. Flauschi opened her paws beside her body like little sunbeams.

Puschel: That sort of sunshine even fits in the workshop.

He opened his paws a little too. There was plenty of space between them.

Flauschi: And it is not hot at all.

4. The rain listens

They rested their paws. Rain still pattered outside.

Puschel: Now it is only raining at the window.

Flauschi: And inside us, the weather is resting.

Puschel smiled. A weather rest felt surprisingly cosy.
