Five Sparks, One Promise

When Puschel and Flauschi reached Star Hill, four sparks glowed inside the star lantern. The fifth hovered silently above the summit and waited.

Flauschi“Perhaps it needs someone who will not hurry ahead,” Flauschi said. Puschel sat beside her and placed his paw in hers.

Together they raised the lantern. All five sparks emerged, danced in a tiny circle of stars and became whole again.

Puschel“Then from now on we shall simply get lost together,” Puschel whispered. Flauschi smiled, and a thousand friendly lights awoke across the Wusel Forest.
