The First Reply

Puschel holds a small open letter with a red heart and happily reads it with Flauschi. The round window, autumn trees, paper star and bell on its soft cloth stay in place behind them.
A little reply can fill a whole room with Christmas anticipation.

When Puschel opened Wusel Mail, he found a little envelope with a red heart. Puschel“Flauschi, our Christmas excitement has written back!” He carried the letter into the living room and unfolded it carefully.

The hedgehog thanked them for their giant red greeting card: it had barely fit on his table, but his smile had been even bigger. Flauschi moved closer, and they read the reply together. Puschel“Then we will invite him!”

cried Puschel. Puschel“Today? Tomorrow?

PuschelWith twenty-three nuts?” Flauschi giggled. Flauschi“For a cosy afternoon during the Christmas season.

FlauschiWe can choose the day together later.” Puschel looked at the little letter. Puschel“Our giant card has received a tiny answer.”

Flauschi“And yet it holds so much happiness,” said Flauschi. They placed the reply gently in their Christmas keepsake box. The bell stayed quiet on its soft cloth beside the window.

They needed no bell today: the kind words kept ringing inside them.

Your little preparation

Think together of someone you would like to spend time with during the Christmas season. Draw a little invitation idea or say thank you for a kind greeting. There is no need to choose a date today.

For adults: An adult helps with contact and invitations. Personal addresses or contact details should not appear in publicly shared pictures; nobody needs to send a letter or buy anything.
