A Place for the Little Bell

Puschel came into the living room with his little teddy. Puschel“The bell could live beside my bed,” he suggested. Puschel“Then Teddy and I would hear the anticipation first!”
Flauschi smiled and folded a soft cloth. Flauschi“Or it could have a place where we can both find it.” Carefully she set the golden bell on the low shelf beside the window.
Puschel hugged Teddy to his tummy and studied its new home. Puschel“But it should not ring whenever we walk past.” Flauschi“That is why the cloth is underneath,” said Flauschi.
They closed the Christmas keepsake box and straightened it on the table. Then they rang the bell together just once for today’s little preparation. Ring!
Puschel lifted Teddy a little higher. Puschel“Did you hear? Our anticipation has an address now.”
Afterwards the bell stayed quietly in its place until the next little Christmas beginning.
Your little preparation
Choose a fixed place for your anticipation keepsake: a drawing, paper star or wish container. One object is enough. If you have no bell, hum quietly once instead.
For adults: An adult chooses a stable spot that does not invite climbing. Small bells and ribbons need supervision; nothing needs to be bought.
