Flauschi’s Sparkle Moments

Flauschi’s Wusel-Vampire Test

Flauschi is only trying out her Wusel-vampire look for Halloween. Puschel brings in pancakes—and one of them jumps with fright.

Flauschi tests a friendly Wusel-vampire look beside the fixed wall mirror while a pancake flies above the startled Puschel
It is only a Halloween test—but Puschel’s pancake jumps with fright too.

Halloween was still a few days away. Flauschi only wanted to test whether her planned Wusel-vampire look was friendly-spooky enough. In front of her vanity mirror, she touched up two little fangs, blended plum-red eyeshadow and straightened her dark collar.

Flauschi“It is only a Halloween test. I will take it all off afterwards.”

At that moment, Puschel came in carrying a plate of warm pancakes. First he saw the dark cape, then Flauschi’s little fangs—and stopped in mid-step.

Puschel“Eek! Since when do Wusel vampires eat pancakes for breakfast?”

The plate wobbled. One pancake bounced straight upwards, made a remarkably tidy turn and landed softly on Puschel’s head.

Flauschi“Do not worry. My Halloween test only has an appetite for a good fright.”

Puschel felt the warm pancake hat on his head. Flauschi giggled, Puschel burst out laughing, and soon they were laughing so hard that even the Wusel vampire did not look spooky any more.

Puschel“Then the test passed—with a pancake crown!”
Flauschi“And without a single bite.”
A pancake rests on Puschel’s head while he laughs with Flauschi in her Wusel-vampire costume beside the fixed wall mirror
The pancake lands softly—and the little fright turns into big laughter.
