Fold paper planes – easy to a little trickier

Choose a plane. Each model has its own folding pictures and short steps. No special craft kit needed.

Start with an easy model. Want more? Try a new fold later. You do not have to make them all.

Which one will you fold?

Your little flight lab

Test each plane three times. Use the same starting place, similarly gentle launches and calm air. Measure from the start to the first touch of the ground. The distance can vary each time.

The wide glider

The locking glider

The boxes are just for your notes and are not saved. For paper: print the page and write in the numbers.

Three more flight challenges
  • Place a large paper circle on the floor as a landing spot. Can you land inside?
  • Time flights instead of measuring distance. Which model stays up longer in your trials?
  • Bend both rear wing edges of one model slightly upward. Compare three flights before and after.
