Across Mirror Pond

The path ended at Mirror Pond. A broad leaf boat waited on the shore, and Star Hill glowed far beyond.

At first Puschel paddled on both sides at once. The boat spun in a circle until Flauschi laughingly set the rhythm.

Then they glided calmly across the water. The star lantern shone in their reflection while the fourth spark led the way.

Halfway across, it came aboard and vanished into the warm light. On the far shore, the final climb was already beginning.
