The Island in the Mist
At the shore of Cloud Lake, another question waited. An island lay in the mist, visible for only a few heartbeats.
Moonlight lifts the mist over Cloud Lake. For the first time, Puschel and Flauschi see the silver island and its bright landing beach; the leaf compass on their boat points straight towards it.
Puschel checked route, luggage and direction. Flauschi checked the map once more. Then they set off, curious enough for every detour.
Puschel“The Island in the Mist,” Puschel said, giving their adventure a name. Flauschi smiled. Whatever came next, they would face it side by side.
Now they knew their destination: the hidden island in Cloud Lake.
