The Secret Plan

The flower meadow smelled of warm grass and wild blossoms. Puschel waited outside the Wusel Workshop with both paws conspicuously behind his back. A green ribbon peeked over his shoulder.

Flauschi“You look as though you are hiding absolutely nothing.”

Flauschi sounded so serious that Puschel nodded with relief. Then the golden acorn slipped from his fur and came to rest between them.

Puschel“All right. Perhaps I am hiding one very tiny thing.”

He described the Great Meadow Festival: lights, games and a cake for everyone. Only someone who could turn all his ideas into a proper plan was missing.

Flauschi“Then you need an ideas expert. And I happen to know one.”

Puschel placed the golden acorn in her paws. Flauschi tied its green ribbon carefully. It was no longer Puschel’s surprise, but their shared secret—and the first step towards the Great Meadow Festival.
