The First Festival Box
The First Festival Box

The first festival box stood inside the Wusel Workshop. Flauschi wanted to arrange its contents neatly. Puschel only wanted to check whether the lid was stuck. On his third pull, the box burst open with a pop.
Puschel“You see? It desperately wanted to be opened.”
Leaves, blossoms and green ribbons whirled through the room. A wreath landed on Puschel’s head. The golden acorn sailed towards Flauschi, who caught it safely.
Flauschi“The box clearly had a plan of its own.”
While tidying, Puschel stepped on a ribbon and pulled a line of leaves behind him. Flauschi studied the trail and arranged the leaves into a long garland.
Puschel“That is exactly how I imagined it. Only perhaps with slightly less of it on the floor.”
Together they tied blossoms between the leaves. The workshop was not completely tidy, but the first festival garland hung above the table. Puschel’s muddle had become their first proper decoration.
