The Buffet Is Ready
On the eve of the festival, every path led to the decorated meadow. There was much to do, but everything felt like arrival.
The festival cake takes pride of place, with bowls and leaf cups arranged in neat rows. Puschel brings the last berries, Flauschi sets everything straight, and the golden acorn gleams beneath the cake stand.
Soon everything smelled of berries and warm pastries. Puschel supplied momentum and Flauschi the proper measure; between them, a little muddle became delicious.
Puschel“The Buffet Is Ready,” Puschel said, giving their adventure a name. Flauschi smiled. Whatever came next, they would face it side by side.
Beneath the first lights, preparation finally turned into celebration.
