A Cup of Wusel Warmth

Puschel holds a little mug of apple drink with both paws. Flauschi stands beside him, holding the handle of her mug on a coaster on the low, light wooden table. Two apple slices, the red book and black leather furniture belong to their cosy autumn room.
Two little mugs of apple drink inspire ideas for a cosy winter visit.

Yesterday Puschel and Flauschi had enjoyed an evening without hurry. Today two little mugs stood on the low table. An adult had warmed a mild apple drink for them and let it cool to a comfortable drinking temperature.

Puschel lifted his mug with both paws. Puschel“It smells as if an apple has found itself a cosy living room.” Flauschi smiled and left her mug on its coaster. Flauschi“Perhaps it would be something for a winter visit.”

Puschel carefully tried a little sip. Then he looked at the drink very closely. Puschel“This is Wusel warmth!” Flauschi“What makes it wuselly?” Puschel“You get warm paws and an idea at the same time.”

Two apple slices lay on the little plate. The red book with its green bookmark waited beside them. Flauschi tried a small sip too. Flauschi“My idea is a break together. Anyone who visits us later can talk, listen or simply enjoy being here.”

Puschel looked towards the paper star in the window. Outside, the leaves glowed orange and gold. Puschel“And what if somebody would rather drink something else?” Flauschi“Then we will find something they like. Wusel warmth is optional.” Puschel liked that most of all.

The Christmas chest stayed in its place and the little bell on its soft cloth. Today they had only tried a drink, without deciding a whole celebration plan. Puschel set his mug safely back on the table. Puschel“Then we will remember: a little apple, a little warmth and lots of time for each other.”

Your little preparation

Talk about a drink you enjoy during a cosy visit. If you like, try a mild apple drink with an adult’s help. Talking or listening is just as welcome.

For adults: Adults handle heating and pouring. Allow the drink to cool to a comfortable temperature and check before tasting; place mugs securely, consider individual tolerances and keep away from fireplaces and candles. Taking part is optional.
