The Secret of Their Shining Fur

Puschel sits in the oval wooden bathtub with a tall tower of bubbles on his head and studies his blue paw; Flauschi stands beside him and the round window is on the left.
Puschel wonders about their bright fur colours.

Puschel sat so deep in the bath bubbles that only his ears and little black nose peeked out. A wobbly tower of foam balanced on his head.

Puschel“Flauschi? Don't you think our fur has looked much brighter lately?”

Flauschi showed him two little bottles and giggled.

Flauschi shows Puschel two small bottles of special Wuselhörnchen shower gel and shampoo; he looks up curiously from the bubble bath.
Flauschi shows him the new shower gel and shampoo for Wuselhörnchen.
Flauschi“It is our new shower gel and shampoo. Made especially for Wuselhörnchen! They make our fur colours shine again.”

Puschel studied one blue paw.

Puschel“So I haven't suddenly become even bluer?”
Flauschi“No. Your blue was always there. Now it simply shines again.”

Puschel nodded happily. The foam tower slipped from his head and landed right on his nose.

Puschel“And what makes the foam shine again?”
Flauschi“For you? Probably another whole bathtub!”

Puschel blew at the foam tower. Two little puffs flew towards Flauschi: one onto her nose, the other onto the flower by her ear. The big blob on Puschel’s nose stayed put. Now they both giggled.

A large mound of white foam covers Puschel’s nose and part of his blue forelock; small foam blobs sit on Flauschi’s nose and white flower by her ear. Both giggle in their familiar bathroom.
Now both have foam on their noses – and Flauschi’s flower has some too.
