The Final Signpost

At the top of the hill, they place the final signpost. The cart is empty, the festival meadow glows below and the golden acorn swings from the handle—every detour has led them here.

The morning of the Meadow Festival had arrived. Golden light covered the grass and even the dew sparkled with excitement.

At the top of the hill, they place the final signpost. The cart is empty, the festival meadow glows below and the golden acorn swings from the handle—every detour has led them here.

Puschel checked route, luggage and direction. Flauschi checked the map once more. Then they set off, curious enough for every detour.

Puschel“The Final Signpost,” Puschel said, giving their adventure a name. Flauschi smiled. Whatever came next, they would face it side by side.

And so preparation ended and the festival began: together.
