By now, the festival was taking shape everywhere. Each finished detail made anticipation grow.
The recipe, the flour cloud and all the rescued berries finally become the first festival cake. Puschel adds the last raspberry while Flauschi steadies the stand—and this time everything lands exactly where it should.
Soon everything smelled of berries and warm pastries. Puschel supplied momentum and Flauschi the proper measure; between them, a little muddle became delicious.
Puschel“The First Festival Cake,” Puschel said, giving their adventure a name. Flauschi smiled. Whatever came next, they would face it side by side.
Their shared festival had found its own rhythm.
