The Very First Star
Flauschi cut out a small paper star and hung it in the round window. The tree home needed no more decorations today. Meanwhile, Puschel had threaded a few more stars onto a string—and wrapped the string around himself.
Puschel‘I only wanted to help,’ he said, turning carefully. Flauschi freed his paw. They put the other stars away in the box for later.
Exactly one stayed in the window.
Your little preparation
Make a simple paper star with an adult. Hang up only this one today; decorations can grow slowly.
For adults: Adults help with cutting and hanging. Loose strings must be kept away from small children and pets.
